Secretary / Vice President of Operations
Marty has successfully run Taylor’s field operations for 15 plus years. He started as an Electrician working in the field. He quickly moved into the position of foreman and ran some of the larger jobs Taylor Electric had at that time.
Marty became an estimator / project manager after coming into the office in 1993. He then took over field operations for the company where he has been responsible for over 400 field electricians in Utah and Nevada. Marty has also been successful in business development where has built lasting relationships with contractors.
Marty excels at coming up with ideas on how to get things done. He is a master at thinking outside of the box. He is highly motivated and energetic. He has an excellent eye for talent. He is responsible for a lot of the personnel that we have here at Taylor Electric. Above all he is responsible for much of the success Taylor Electric has had since he made this place his second home.
Marty has been a team member since 1980.
Marty enjoys working on projects at his home and cabin. There is rarely a time he doesn’t have a building or remodeling project going on. Further, he enjoys fishing, four wheeling and snowmobiling with his two sons.

Field Operations / Safety
Art began his electrical career as an apprentice in Texas. He worked there for two years and then took a job in Georgia working on automated conveyors. He then came back to Salt Lake to further his career in the electrical industry. He has been a superintendent on projects ranging from a 75 story high rise in Atlanta, Georgia to a 100,000 square foot meeting room expansion in Salt Lake City, Utah. Art has a master electrician’s license and he currently runs the day-to-day of Taylor’s field operations and heads up our safety programs. Art is working toward completing his 30 hour OSHA certification.
He has been a team member since 2001.
In his spare time he enjoys biking, hiking, camping and being with his family.
