Chief Financial Officer
Mike came to Taylor Electric after graduating from Brigham Young University with a Masters Degree in Accounting. He also has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Utah to his credit.
After graduating with his bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah in 2005, Mike went to work for accounting firm of Deloitte & Touche in the Bay area. He then went on to graduate studies at Brigham Young University earning his Masters degree in accounting. Upon graduation Mike came to work for Taylor Electric. Each year he goes on a humanitarian trip, typically with eye physicians, to a different part of the world, with past visits to Belize, Guatemala, Panama, Mexico, and Thailand.
He has been a team member since 2006.
Mike enjoys playing soccer and is often found skiing, hiking and traveling.
Controller
Paula has an extensive background in the construction industry. It has been a part of her life for over 37 years. She has worked for general contractors, a caisson drilling and blasting contractor, a HVAC contractor and a fire alarm security contractor before coming to Taylor Electric. She has spent the majority of that time as a controller.
Paula has been a team member since 2005.

Office Manager / Accounts Payable - Large Projects
Susan came to Taylor Electric after completing the back to work program at the Salt Lake Community College. She started out by assuming our HR duties like new hire orientations and the handling of the medical and dental insurance. She also answered the phones before voice mail was created. She did the payroll for us for many years. She now manages the accounts payables where she ensures that our vendors are paid in a timely fashion. Susan also manages our workers compensation duties.
She has been a team member since 1991.
Susan enjoys spending time with family and looks forward to grandma’s night once a week. In her free time she enjoys scrap booking.

Payroll & Service Assistant
Prior to Karen coming to Taylor Electric she ran a cosmetology school for 21 years. Karen took care of all the financial aid for the students as well as the payroll. She handled all the accounts receivables and payables for the school. Karen handled all the audits required by the federal government. She now is taking care of the payroll for 200 plus employees for Taylor Electric as well as handling the billings and collections for the service department.
She has been a team member since 2005.
Karen enjoys hunting and the outdoors.

Administrative Assistant / Accounts Payables / Human Relations
Judy greets every person that comes through our front door with a warm smile and a great personality. She wears many hats in our organization as represented in her title. She was born and raised in Virginia were she learned how to make the most awesome biscuits on earth. She loves to visit her daughter and granddaughters in Australia but is terrified to fly. She is an accomplished seamstress and makes baby gowns and blankets for the LDS Churches humanitarian aid.
Judy has been a team member since 1997.
In her free time she likes to read, sew or knit.

Office Assistant
Jeri is an accomplished baton twirler which she taught for four years. She has spent a large part of her life working at various jobs as well as a full time mom. She learned book keeping from her mother Geraldine Taylor. Grandma Taylor was the corner stone of Taylor Electric in its beginning. Once she learned how to keep the books straight she started working with her brother Jerry Taylor (the founder of Taylor Electric). She has been a loyal and hard working employee at Taylor Electric ever since.
She has been a team member since 1989.
Jeri loves to travel, take lots of pictures and spend time with her kids and grandkids.
